The Huskers were down 17-10 at halftime against No. 9 Wisconsin, but there was still a sense of optimistic energy. Then Aaron Williams stepped in front of a pass and returned it 14 yards for a touchdown, turning that nervous energy into expressive excitement.
Wisconsin responded by running the ball on 31 of the next 32 plays.
And it worked.
The Badgers answered the pick-6 with a touchdown on its only pass attempt after that interception. Wisconsin then ran the ball 22 times in the fourth quarter, and added two more scores to put away the win.
