Last year, Michigan embarassed Nebraska on Senior Day to hand the Huskers a program-worst 36-point loss. On Thursday night, the Huskers got a dose of payback.
This time around, Nebraska held No. 23 Michigan to just 52 points, and four made 3-pointers, to run away with NU’s first win over a ranked team this season. James Palmer Jr. led four Huskers in double figures, and hit 7 of 11 from the free throw line to provide a steady hand in the second half and keep the Wolverines from making things interesting.
