This time last week, we all thought we had a pretty firm grasp on things in College Football. Wisconsin was destined to roll to Indianapolis as the most likely candidate to represent the Big Ten in the National Title game. Oklahoma had another victim lined up to add to it’s 39-game home winning streak in 30-point underdog Texas Tech. The upcoming matchup between NU and Michigan State in Memorial Stadium would serve as a glorified silver-medal game to see who earned the right to get rolled by Russell Wilson one more time.
