• The Nebraska volleyball team is gearing up to make a push for their first Final Four appearance since 2008, and they hope to use a Husker-friendly crowd at Omaha’s Century Link Center to increase their odds of making it through another two rounds of play in the NCAA tournament. • Coming off a weekend where NU grapplers Josh Ihnen and Robert Koeksh earned titles at the Cliff Keen Invitational in Las Vegas, the Nebraska wrestling team gets back to business as a squad, when they host Arizona State and conference foe Wisconsin this weekend in Lincoln. With a trip to New York to take on Rutgers and Maryland on the horizon for next weekend, look for the Huskers to use a pair of home duals this weekend to build momentum before heading to the Big Apple next weekend. • After experiencing an up and down ride during the first few weeks of the season, the Nebraska women’s basketball team will look to find consistency heading into conference play, starting with tonight’s matchup in Omaha with Creighton. Nebraska has already gotten a win over Pac 12 foe USC on the road, but at the same time was unable to hang with preseason No. 5 Maryland at home, as coach Connie Yori looks to find a cohesion between the experienced playmakers and the young role players on the team. • If the Devaney Center weren’t already busy enough, the Nebraska track and field team will host its annual intrasquad meet this Friday night. With the Huskers looking to expand on a successful first season in the Big Ten, NU’s indoor journey kicks off with a friendly competition among teammates, with fans invited to come get an up close and personal look at this year’s squad.
